Game Description

TurnIt! is an engaging turn-based strategy game where players navigate through two distinct levels, battling enemies and strategically using healing mines to maintain their health. The game features a dynamic combat log that tracks every action, providing players with a detailed record of the battle.

Key Features

1. Turn-Based Combat

• Turn System: Players and enemies take turns to execute actions such as attacking, defending, or using special abilities.
• Tactical Depth: Players must strategically decide their actions to outmaneuver enemies, considering factors like positioning, attack range, and special abilities.

2. Healing Mines

• Healing Mechanism: Healing mines are scattered throughout the levels. Standing on a healing mine at the end of a turn will restore a portion of the character's health.
• Strategic Placement: Players must decide when to move towards a healing mine, balancing between offense and the need to recover health.

3. Combat Log

• Detailed Records: The combat log captures every action taken during combat, including attacks, defenses, special abilities used, and healing events.
• Replayability: Players can review the combat log to analyze their strategy, learn from their mistakes, and plan better for future encounters.

Play Instructions

Getting Started

1. Launch the Game:
   • Locate and run ProjDV-Recurso.exe from the extracted folder, or by clicking Run game above
2. Start Menu:
   • Load a Save: Continue from a previously saved game.
   • Start a New Game: Begin a new adventure.

Controls

• Camera Movement: Use W, A, S, D keys to move the camera.
• Camera Zoom: Use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out.
• Camera Rotation: Use Q and E keys to rotate the camera.

Gameplay Phases

Movement Phase

1. Select a Character:
   • Click on a player character to select them.
2. Move the Character:
   • Click on a point on the map to move the selected character.
3. End Movement Phase:
   • Click the "Next Phase" button on the bottom right to proceed.

Action Phase

1. Select an Action:
   • Choose which target to attack, and confirm on the popup in the right.
2. End Turn:
   • Click the "Finish Turn" button to end your turn and allow the AI to take its turn.

AI Turn

• AI Turn Notification:
  • The status at the top will change to "AI Playing" indicating the AI's turn.

Victory Conditions

• Defeat All Enemies:
  • The game continues until either all AI characters or all player characters are defeated.
• Advance to Next Level:
  • If the player survives, they will be able to cross the blue stars to advance to the next level.
